Yes! Using Repubrick is completely free. You can upload images, generate LEGO pixel art, and explore the visual renderings without paying anything. In the future, we may offer optional features like premium downloads, high-resolution plans, or brick kits — but the core service will always remain free to use.

In Black and White mode, Repubrick converts your image to grayscale before matching it with available LEGO bricks. However, LEGO doesn't produce bricks in pure black, white, and gray only — so we use the closest available colors in the LEGO palette. This means you might still see subtle tints or colored bricks, especially when no perfect grayscale brick is available. The goal is to stay as close as possible to the original shading while using real LEGO pieces.

To keep Repubrick safe and respectful for everyone, we use AI-powered moderation tools, including the OpenAI Omni model, to help automatically detect and filter inappropriate content. When you upload an image, it’s analyzed in real-time to ensure it doesn’t contain anything offensive, violent, or harmful. If the system detects a problem, the image may be blocked or flagged for review. This helps us maintain a fun and positive space for all brick fans!
