With the increasing popularity of the Galactic Asteroid Rally Circuit (GARC) more and more spaceship designers entered the field. Llwyngwril Space Systems had designed several successful space racers before, so it was logical for them to enter this field too. Unfortunately their first design, the "Grasshopper" suffered engine failure on its first flight and had to be rescued before any "swooshing" photo could be taken.
The "Grasshopper" featured two tubes, one for each pilot. The pilots flew the ship from a prone position, in order to alleviate the stress on their bodies of the high-G turns of GARC racing. The ship also featured four massive engines.
These photos were sent to us by Roberts Recovery, the deep space salvage and recovery experts. The "Strange Attractor" was commanded by Eddy Lorenz. Eddy had been a weather forecaster but found the job boring and instead chose a life of rescuing stranded GARC racers from asteroid fields. This was dangerous, exciting and well paid work.
